An innovative project has been launched to turn wastewater treatment into a self-contained process, with the aim of simplifying management and enhancing the value of treated water for precision agriculture.
Traditional wastewater management, based on oxidation plants, provides good treatment results, but involves high energy consumption and intensive maintenance. To overcome these critical issues, a plant was started on an experimental basis, aimed at optimizing workloads and improving overall process efficiency.
Technological innovation
The introduction of our Multiva Blue Disruptor facilitated the oxidation process, increasing the biodegradability of the effluent and significantly reducing energy consumption and the need for technical interventions. The treatment produced a final effluent that complied with environmental regulations and was suitable for reuse in precision agriculture, promoting responsible use of water resources.
Achievements
- Process optimization: reducing operating costs, energy consumption and maintenance activities.
- Improved treatment efficiency: improved effluent quality and system stability.
- Environmental benefits: regulatory compliance and contribution to sustainability through water reuse.
- Advanced agricultural application: treated water has been used in low-impact irrigation practices, contributing to the development of precision agriculture.
Conclusions
This project demonstrates how the adoption of advanced chemical solutions can transform wastewater management from an operational necessity to a strategic resource. An effective, sustainable approach that can be replicated in other treatment settings.
